  If you are tight for cash, the Aperture A-lav is a much better choice.
  
  Rode had the right idea here, but it just doesn't cut it... I was really hoping this would be a great compromise for us folks who cannot afford the Videomic Pro, but I was wrong. This Microphone is not worth the money, save up for the Videomic Pro, play it safe.
  This thing hisses worse than a snake! I had an issue with the plug not inserting correctly, causing an unwanted clicking noise.
  It may look enticing, BUT STAY AWAY BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! However, it has a very stylish color design, very cheeky!
