  I think the keyboard itself is adequate for a 5-year-old to start learning, and she loves the microphone, but the mic quality of course is adequate for toddlers, same with headset. I am absolutely miffed however that the stool was missing, the package looked rifled through and some of the packaging was opened altogether but I already received it after my granddaughter's birthday, so ended up running out to buy her a stool for 50 dollars. If I had time I would have returned it, so I am not happy but am tolerating the shoddy service because my granddaughter's happiness is more important. Order early and check your package folks.
