- Reviewed in Canada on September 7, 2023Great upgrade to the old mini - particularly with STARVIS 2 for night time recording. Love this particular unit as it tucks in discreetly behind my rear view mirror.
With HDR turned on the A119 MINI 2 records night time footage beautifully, providing clarity on important details such as license plates and signs at night.
Voice controls also work very well (take photo, start/stop video, saving video clips, turning on/off wifi) although I found the voice notifications to be distracting but thankfully was able to turn that off in settings.
Wi-Fi transfer at 5ghz works fast - was able to download 3 minute 2K clip in about 20 seconds.
At this price point it is hard to beat however would have liked the hardwire kit to be included - might be something I try out next for parking mode.
