  I am not sure how this item would be for the stated purpose as I don't have DJ equipment but it is a good size for a tournament chess bag for carrying a chessboard, chess pieces and a chess clock. In fact there is enough room for three or four sets and clocks particularly if the boards are roll up or silicone boards which is my preferred option. It seems to me to be a bit oversized to hold a 15.6 inch laptop and I would have some concerns as the compartment where the laptop might be held is not as well protected as the main compartment which is pictured with DJ equipment in it in the ad. The internal compartment is well cushioned. This bag is in fact large enough to safely contain my laptop bag in the main compartment and the chess equipment in the other compartment, though this would be a bit redundant. If I look at this as a chess equipment bag then it is quite reasonably priced as similar bags can run up to $100 USD. This seems a good alternative option at a more reasonable price.
