However there are some issues and also it could be so much better.
1 - when it goes to sleep for some time. the only way I can use it again is to unplug / plug back (reboot),
wish there was a reboot button at least. Annoying to go back of the tv and look for the power cable.
I tried all kind of suggested solutions , unable to wake up the device with remote.
2 - sound control should be included in the settings, I watch prime in my chrome browser and I can change
sound setting from 5.1 to 2.1 and bass treble etc . And yes there is a device with volume control but that
is not what I want. I want to control the output from the device.
3 - in my case the battery cover on the remote is flimsy , comes off randomly, scotch tape solution here.
4 - from time to time the disk space on the device becomes low and a warning is issued.
it was not obvious what happen as I did not installed anything since original setup, turns out the apps
fill up their cache and eventually a manual cleanup is required. this should be manged better.
5 - During initial setup I was tricked into subscribing to amazon music unlimited which became a paid
service , I never used it and cancelled once seen on my bill. pushy sales tactic.
6 - Occasional system hang , nothing responds , reboot required. ???
For the price its functionality is still great, I love the portability, I move from room to room and even travel with it. It is fast enough , batteries in the remote last long , stick stays cool. Get a HDMI female 2 female adapter and you can just plug into any HDMI cable. I would like to also be able to plug it into my laptop.
USB-C power port would be much better.
So it is good , however streaming is today's game with fierce competition and a company like 鶹 should produce no less then perfection in order to acquire users / keep current ones and be on the top of the streaming business .
