  This elevated toilet seat works as described on the Description Page. It looks a lot better in person, very bright, very white, very clean. I live in a very old apartment building with no upgrades or updates but I had no issues with replacing the old toilet seat/lid with this one. The additional height makes a huge difference, at least it did for me.
  
  I had to have a friend install it for me because there is limited space inside my bathroom & with the small bits & pieces of fittings which required significant bending for installation - I am recovering from a surgery. It didn't take my friend long to install it & once it had been we both rejoiced, lol. It was/is such a big improvement. I'm very, very pleased with it, & my cats appreciate the quiet of the soft closing lid.
