  i got this set to build my first gunpla doing no research at all on the tools. during the build I ended up replacing everything on it. the polishing stick was pretty great did it's job well, the nippers were replaced nearly immediately, the hobby knife was pretty good but I replaced it pretty quickly cause x-acto knives are pretty cheap the file is trash don't use too small to be comfortable too gritty to be useful as its risky when being used with plastic models. I replaced it with a glass file instead which is much better at removing gate nubs without damaging the surrounding plastic. if you want to have a good time making plastic models spending extra is worth it it will not only save you a bit of sanity but will save you time and the build quality of your plastic models.
