  I used it to get about 7 years worth of hair and other things that have seeped into my carpet. Easy to assemble and it worked well. You definitely need to put some elbow grease into pushing down and pulling back towards you to pull up hair and other things that have dug into your carpet. Does the job but will need to do the area in stages.
