  I got these tv ears for my mother who is losing her hearing and requires hearing aids which she hates to use. These TV ears work great and she is able to hear the TV. The rest of us can now enjoy the TV without having the volume super high. Although my mom loves the TV ears, my dad not so much. When he talks to her she is unable to hear him and ignores him unless he can visually get her attention. I think this is another reason why my mom loves these things (LOL).
  One thing that I am concerned about is that her hearing seems to have degraded a bit since getting and using the TV ears. Not sure if this is natural progression of her hearing loss or as a result of the TV ears. Her ENT did say they should be okay to use, but did suggest getting bluetooth hearing aides which would be adjusted to her individual hearing needs.
