However, they are not scrubbing sponges. They鈥檙e not like regular sponges that you can get down into stuff with. They don鈥檛 damage any of your cookware or dishes though. And they really shine when using them for glassware and non-stick cookware.
I would suggest soaking dishes or washing them right away if you want the best use of this product.
It takes some getting used to, but I go through sponges like a mad lad and these鈥 these are some of the most durable things I鈥檝e seen and used and I鈥檝e used just one for a month now and it鈥檚 still going strong with no signs of damages.
They do not absorb dish soap like regular sponges and sudsing up will not be the same. I won鈥檛 say they鈥檙e compatible with push tray dish soap dispensers as they won鈥檛 absorb the droplet that dispenses on the tray well. You may need to use a dish soap dispenser with a pump.
Either way, your dishes get clean and you might find you wash faster with them. They drain well which is great for my germaphobe self.
I wanted a more eco-friendly version to dish sponges and here they are. I am a big fan of silicone loofahs that look like these and I found they work so much better for my skin, getting it clean, clearing it up, and don鈥檛 make my face acne and body acne worse. So when I realized these existed for the kitchen sink, I was game!
The only thing that would make this product better is if it weren鈥檛 as flexible - it is very flexible and it can fall from your hands and folks with carpal tunnel may have difficulties with gripping it for washing a bunch of dishes. It can also benefit from a higher ridge around the edge, with or without silicone bristles, so you can get more easily into water bottle lids and tupperware lids.
Either way, one of the best buys I made for the year! And they came with so many units in this purchase.
