I got this set for my elderly aunt who suffers from scoliosis and Parkinson's. The bulkier (yet relatively light) handles really make it easier for her to grip. The ability to angle the utensils (especially the spoons) make it less taxing for her to bend and twist to get the spoon to get mouth with her bite. Angling the utensils does take a bite of force, and getting the right angle takes some trial and error. Overall though, this is definitely helpful for increasing her quality of life.
