REVIEW - uptronic - Toilet Plunger with Holder
We were in need of a plunger, the old one that we had for years finally caught a split in the rubber. This is a plunger, nothing extravagant about it, does the job it needs to be doing.
The handle in comes in three pieces, I thought maybe this would be a bad idea for stability and longevity, things may loosen over time, won't be as reliable as something all one piece, but I suppose this is made having shipping in mind as it comes in a small box. The rubber feels pliable and thick, it does come coated in something like and oil? either way it does have a tiny bit of smell and you can feel it on your hands when handling it, this is not a big issue because once in use, I don't think I will set hands on the rubber again :)
The holder is kind of cheap, thin plastic, light weight, however it does the job and is fitted perfectly for the plunger.
I don't know about the price, it has been a while since I needed a new one, but 23 bucks? seems high for just a plunger, I wouldn't say there is anything special about this one other than its handle that can be collapsed, which I don't know anyone who wants a ultra portable plunger for anything.
Overall, the things does the job, will work for toilet and for sinks if needed and comes with a little docking station to contain any excess water left behind. I recommend it's usefulness, maybe not at current pricing, if can get cheaper, then not so bad.
