If you enjoy the 1960s/70s Hollywood films of the 'auteur film-makers', yes I mean Coppola, Scorsese, Nichols, Hopper, Schrader, Lumet, obviously Friedkin etc. You HAVE TO see the adventure-thriller-psycho-horror, SORCERER!!! It is a re-make of The Wages Of Fear (which I have not seen yet) & based on a French novel of the same name by Georges Arnaud (which I am reading now). Sorcerer is one of the most intense films ever made & totally up there with The French Connection, The Exorcist, Boys In The Band...all of Friedkin's masterpieces.
