I bought two of these last year, now after using them for a while I am not happy with the batteries that came with them. They are expensive to replace, hundreds of dollars.

Lithium batteries should hold a storage charge for year and these will deplete quickly on the shelf. I have to recharge them every month or they will die which indicates there is a problem with them.

In the video above shows the state of the battery after being fully charged two weeks ago and has already lost 1/2 its charge. In two to three weeks more it will be dead if I don't charge it. Also, I am not getting many flashes out of it. I did a photo shoot for the Canadian Olympic Committee a couple weeks ago and only got about 200 1/16 bursts out of each of these batteries that are supposed to get 390 full power flashes. I was not using the modelling light.

I have contacted the company several times and have received no reply. There is no customer service with GODOX. If you're lucky and have no problems their gear is pretty good. I also have two ad200 pros and their batteries last for ever and store for ever. If they AD400 batteries were are good as the AD200 batteries, I would be giving these 4 stars

I paid almost $2,000.00 for these two AD400's and expected better customer service. I will be doing a review on my YouTube channel for my 40k subscribers.

I recommend looking at the "Flashpoint 400 Pro" from Adorama. At least there you will get customer service, and they are less expensive, win, win.
