  These are so handy, that we now have 3 of them. Turns 2 outlets into 5 and gives you a usb c port and 3 usb A ports. Has surge protection built in but it says to get a professional surge protector for expensive goods. One more bonus, the instruction sheet was actually written by someone who speaks English. We have one in the hallway with one of those little usb led lights in it for a nightlight which is only 1.2 watts but is really bright.
  We have had our oldest one for well over a year and no troubles. If you need something like this, I recommend this one edit: actually have more than 3 now, might be 5. They're so handy I want to put one in every outlet in the house which would be crazy and unneeded but I really like this product.
