  I had never played Candy Land before but was looking for a simple and fun game for my newly 4-year old's first board game. She loves it. It's very simplistic, so is perfect for teaching about taking turns, drawing cards from the deck, general concept, etc. The quality of the game seems excellent - we just received it today and have already played it at least five times, but since it is so new I will update my review if my opinion ever changes. I'm looking forward to introducing the game to our other kids once they are old enough.
