  This is a good quality and functional mechanical pencil. It is good size, and not so slim as the more expensive mechanical pencils. The 0.7mm lead writes smoothly, shows very dark and clear marks, and won't break easily. I tend to write too hard and always break the lead of other pencils, but not this one. I think it is important to push the head of the pencil only once, and not more, so that just a short bit of lead comes out which is sufficient for general writing purposes. If you push twice or more, the lead tends to break no matter how softly you write. I should point out that while the soft rubber grip makes writing more comfortable, it attracts a lot of dust and lint from the desk and may look a bit untidy if you bring it to an office meeting.
  Overall, this is very good value for the price.
