  not the size indicated. says 12" but its about 17" so wont fit in back pack.
  On the + side its sturdy and nice to have the remote.
  it 'telescopes' out and doesnt have locking clamps.. so there is a chance it could eventually slip.
  The clamp that holds the camera is clumsy.. you have to screw and unscrew it.. vs having a spring loaded clamp. This means if you want to set up quick it adds more time.
  for the price its ok.. but i returned it for the error in sizing on the site.. Looking for something more sturdy and long lasting.
