  Very nice design, and the long, wide slots make it easy to toast any type of bread. The one significant knock is that it doesn't always toast evenly, especially if you're only toasting 1 slice (using 1 slot of the two). One side is often not very toasted at all while the other side of the slice is quite browned. From other reviews on this and other toasters it seems to be a common problem for toasters in general. Another common issue with most toasters is the "lift" functionality doesn't lift very high - you get a small piece of bread or an English muffin and still have to try and reach down into the toaster to get at it - don't know why product designers can make them lift more than an inch or two!
