  I have a smaller Moka pot that I use without issue on my cooktop. I'm not sure why this one doesn't work since the base is magnetic. I can't return since I've used it. I contacted customer support and they sent me a second one. It also does not work. If you have induction I would look elsewhere.
  
  For regular cooktops/burners this does the job. I like the heavier stainless steel ones more. Still enjoyed the coffee this one made. Great size for when there's a few people.
