While it's not a full theater sound system and does not provide a full theater surround system experience, it still is a huge step up from the TV speakers. It doesn't give a huge "wow" factor but it does a great job providing a crisp clear sound. The bass is not over bloated and is smooth, which is great for watching the movies. It's ok for listening to the music but it's not what it is designed for.
The TV used to pair this soundbar with is Sony Bravia XR X90K. I tried to use Bluetooth connection, which was immediately recognized by both devices and the sound quality was good with no delays or whatsoever. Also, tried with an 8K UHD ARC HDMI certified high quality cable through an eARC port on TV. The TV immediately recognized that there is a Sony Soundbar connected and offered to complete a setup. The bass lines do sound slightly crispier through the cable but the difference between BT and HDMI is hardly any noticeable.16 people found this helpfulReport PermalinkHelpful
