  I'm switching away from anything with teflon coating and just got new stainless steel pans (and will soon be getting a S/S grill. Burners don't have a precise temperature setting on them, as my T-Fal Opti-grill does, so I use this laser to ensure I'm close to the desired temperature. It's a nifty little addition to my kitchen.
