So, I was left to play around with the mish-mash of included parts to try and figure out something that works. The first thing I tried was the nuts, and found that one of the two fit into my spindle, so that gave me hope.
I tried the various washers, flipping them around with different combinations, to try and get the blade centered and snug.
Eventually, I found something that works, but it doesn't look convincing. But there is little to no movement in the blade, so it should be good.
As long as the locknut stays on, it should be fine, but I am very cautious using it for now.
The blades themselves are nice quality. The metal is thick and durable so far, but my tests have been limited and will be so until spring.
So 5 stars for the blades, but a 2 star for the installation instructions.
