  This is a nice balm that isn't overly greasy but that still has the occlusiveness needed to lock in moisture. It provides some moisture, but I would still apply a bit of a moisturizing product underneath if that was the main concern. A tube over a tub has hygienic advantage though it can be a bit hard to squeeze a balm out if it's cool or cold.
