As such, I offer up a fair number of balls to the gods of the woods each round. One day while looking for a ball that was 'right here somewhere' with the friend I was playing with, I mentioned it'd be a lot easier if you had a black light flashlight - if they were even a thing.
The next day he texted me 'flashlights are here' and I was confused. He'd found and bought a pair of black flight flashlights after our round and had them overnighted. We went out that night and between the two of us found 265 balls in varying conditions.
It was SO EASY to spot them. I even found one partway up a tree, though it had to stay there as it was too high to reach.
The next day I ordered my own - this model, with twice as many LED. It's heavier than the 50 LED model, using twice as many batteries, but it has far better range and light spread, which makes searching for golf balls that much easier.
Absolutely worth a pickup if you've thought about going out to get some of your golf balls back.
