Each pole screws into the next and if you wanted something shorter, you could leave out the 15" middle extension. The brush head angle can be adjusted and held sturdily at the angle you need. The stiff bristles are made of strong plastic and none of the bristles fell out while using it. For storage, this can be completely disassembled or hung using the convenient hole at the end of the handle. If you have tiled flooring anywhere in your home, you'll want this!
