It kills me because the main character was so awesome, grounded in reality, funny, smart, and the love interest… so great! I really loved this book and how it was set up to not be the typical Hallmark story, until halfway through when the main character all of a sudden became super obsessed and controlling, and the sister… ugh, and they had to save a small town from…. Just stop! The part that really started to throw me was how the author would describe a feeling with something the character would never have experienced, such as “the feeling of a scuba diver coming up too quickly”. When would this workaholic, slightly neurotic woman, who never strayed to far from here sister (the ungrateful one to whom all of her money and time went to) have ever gone diving? Why not, that feeling when the subway rushes onto the platform and sucks all the air out, since it was hammered home so often that she was a city girl!!!
    Just why?
