- Reviewed in Canada on May 18, 2021I ordered this Master Lock Padlock because I needed a new padlock on one of my patio gates. This padlock is very easy to lock and unlock with the provided key and it is also very easy to insert and take the key out of the keyhole. Once opened, this lock can be re-locked whether the key is in the keyhole or not. Therefore, you do not need the key to lock this padlock. But I must agree with other reviewers : this padlock is very small.The media could not be loaded.

The lock is almost 2 inches tall and is about 1.25 inches wide.
The key itself is about 1.75 inches long.
When all is said and done, this padlock isn't very sturdy. I would not use it to protect any valuables. I use mine to keep one of my gates locked on my backyard patio to make sure that my toddler stays on the patio in case I have to run inside for a second. So, for this intended purpose, it does the job...it's just a very basic padlock. Therefore, if you are looking to lock a storage unit, or anything that has valuables that you want to protect, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
