I bought this kit for a watch I have coming to me to take links out of it once it arrives, in the mean time I decided to give a few of the tools a try on a watch I already had on me. I took out a link and put the pin back in with the square that holds ur bracket in place and the little hammer and pin pusher no problem, then I used the yellow tool to remove the back off the watch and take the battery out that鈥檚 been dead for months no issues also, I only just ordered the batteries to replace the one I took out now they come tomorrow and I鈥檒l put it in which I assume will be a breeze aswell with this kit. Tools seem of decent quality besides stuff not being tightened on the tools (screws holding it together and some of the screw on tips for the screwdrivers) for $20 this is definitely worth it. Really pays for itself with one usage of removing links and changing out the battery. I don鈥檛 get the bad reviews on this people saying their stuff broke first time they tried using it (pin pusher bending ect) you have to be careful when using these tools these aren鈥檛 designed to be forcefully slammed and hammered on very hard you have to remember these tools are thin and have to be thin to be used in the matter they are they can only have so much structure before they fail, be gentle be patient if ur frustrated. Or read the manual to figure out what tools get used for what bad reviews are people who A- Just flat out don鈥檛 know what they are doing and can鈥檛 understand instructions and are too rough or B- ppl who think they know it all and already know what they鈥檙e doing so they don鈥檛 read the instructions and ruin their tools. OVERALL THIS IS GOOD FOR THE PRICE I RECOMMEND. (Ps I have zero experience with taking apart watches this is the first time I even picked up any of these tools and I still had 0 issues once I read the book a few times.
