  My first impression was that this comes with a lot of blocks! I find some kits only come with a few blocks and then it's limited what you can build with them. This one came with a significant amount of blocks! The blocks are large and vibrant. All wooden. Well painted. They are all rounded edges, so no rough points. Perfect for young kids! I wish I had known about this set sooner! Blocks are an essential toy for kids learn skills! My daughter is now 2.5 and she LOVES building with blocks. Her fav thing to do is to see how tall she can build a tower (and honestly, she can get it impressingly high!!). I removed 1 star because it comes with a wooden base to "play" with and stack them inside..... but it doesn't actually store the blocks. It's only big enough to hold 1 layer of blocks??? So you will have to come up with a separate storage solution for them.
