  I was looking for a pepper grinder that was easy to use but did not use batteries. I have owned both type in the past. This is by far the best pepper grinder I have owned. I love the choice of different grind settings. And it is easy to refill and use. Very happy with the purchase. I also own the matching salt grinder for sea salt.
