  After a few power failures this past winter, I realized my cheap flashlight that I had for years was totally useless, and using candles was not the safest alternative.
  I bought a couple of these flashlights and they are great - very powerful, lightweight and the price was reasonable. Wish I would have bought them long ago, but at least now I am prepared for any future power failures..
