  Looks nice like wood but doesn't get ruined by being wet like a wooden handle would. I like the look of this as let's face it, dish scrubbers can be quite an eyesore. I just cut off the thick string loop at the end of the handle because I am not hanging it anywhere and the string stays wet. Will order again but that will be far in the future as the set of two will last a long time.
