  4 stars because my kids really liked it.
  
  I hated it. My kid is a creative and intelligent 7 year old but she could not do this on her own. I was frustrated. The clay is just EXTREMELY difficult to work with. It is the exact consistency of used chewing gum (alhough, dry). It stuck to everything. I used a kitchen scraper to get it all out of its foil packaging. The instructions say to use another ball of clay to get your bug part out of the molds....the problem is it's so sticky that it stretches your bug part all out of shape when you try to peel it off. Am I too OCD about this? Maybe.
  
  My kids liked painting the bugs. They loved watching me struggle with the clay. For the price, it was an OK investment in family bonding activities.
  
  *for context, I wanted something similar to the good ol' creepy crawlers factory from the 90's
