I have one that's more traditional headphone style, and another that's like this but the band is flat/horizontal. Baby did not care for the headphone style one and seemed to find it uncomfortable. We got it during some home renovations, and baby actually slept better until we put that other headphone on. Then we tried the one with the band that's straight across the front and back, and the band ended up crossing baby's eyes which was a no-go.
So finally we have these ones, with the angled band which goes across baby's forehead and not their eyes. The material also feels softer, and the band is nice and grippy. It has the rubbery grips on it that look like strings of hot glue, you may have seen them on some work gloves. It helps to keep the band in place. There are also three bands of different lengths with two installed by default, so you can swap them for the shortest one to adjust.
The others weren't cheap, but they felt cheap and poorly designed. In comparison this one felt much more thought-out and the materials were better. Happy with this!
