  It's ironic that Taylor Jenkins Reid blurbed this novel because this book reminds me of the only two books that I've read (so far) from her backlist: "Daisy Jones and the Six" and "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo". I say this in a complimentary way because I enjoyed both of those novels.
  
  I can see how this novel is going to be very polarizing. It's very different when compared to Emily Henry's previous novels but at the same time still maintained her unique writing style and charming way of storytelling.
  
  I really enjoyed this novel and thought it was beautiful. It may not be my most favourite of hers but it also isn't my least favourite. Maybe somewhere in-between? I'm happy Emily Henry decided to go out on a limb and try something different.
  
  I will say though that I feel the use of italics for emphasis was overused in this novel. When italics are used at that frequency, it takes away the intention of them being used and the significance in which they are meant for. A small thing but one that I couldn't help but notice.
