  - This is kind of a neat item. It has a cold shoe mount where you can mount it to your camera, and also underneath the shoe, it has a 1 /4 inch screw so you can mount on things such as tripods making it more versatile in mounting options. The unit is made of metal and is good quality. The bend is rather stiff. Stiffer than expected and you can’t adjust its tightness. The box comes with a metal ring so you can stick it to the back of a phone case (if your phone does not have that magsafe magnets built-in). But if you have Magsafe, or a phone case with a magnet ring built-in it will work, so it doesn’t have to be an apple iphone only. I tested with my iphone SE 3 with a medium shock resistant case (with built-in ring on the back) and it works perfectly. It sticks well too. But note that the iPhone SE 3 is much smaller and lighter than the bigger phones and so YMMV.
