  1. Do not place them at the bottom of your dishwasher near heating elements.
  2. If microwaved on high for 3 minutes, that probably 10 seconds too long! Don't microwave cook with these, use ceramic or glass. You can warm up food with these bowls.
  
  It's a reasonable price for 4 bowls only. Wheat Straw is a biodegradable naturally derived plastic. I'm happy that it was delivered in a simple brown cardboard box rather than those plastic coated pretty cardboard boxes which are not recyclable.
  
  My kids find them to be the perfect size and weight for popcorn or chips.
  I use them for hot soup and will not be disappointed if they stain the way regular plastic containers can stain. Wash and then leave them in full sunlight for a few hours to reduce any staining.
  
  They look like cheap plastic, duh. You can pay $$$ for top quality ceramic that won't break easily. The X-29 aircraft were made ceramic composite.
