  These knee pads definitely have helped save my knees as a residential/commercial service Plumber/gas fitter. I wore these for almost a year every day. They did their job, however the padding has now worn and they don't provide much slip resistance or protection for my knee. I'm not going to purchase these again because they just don't last. These would be great for a homeowner working in their house, but are not great for continuous use.
