  Got this to refinish my staircase, works really good to strip paint and adhesive off wood.
  
  Blade seems quite durable, doesn’t seem to have worn much at all, I even dragged over a few nails and staples that were hidden at the time and didn’t seem to cause any damage to the scraper.
  
  Definitely a good alternative to sanding or using chemical paint removers. I wanted to avoid creating a bunch of dust, and this got me to the point where only a light sanding before the new paint is required.
