  These are great liion batteries that offer stable voltage throughout their capacity at around 1.5V which is a nice feature for devices that are affected by voltage drop. At 2400mah they offer great capacity, but keep in mind they need to be charged in lithium aa chargers as the traditional nimh/nicad chargers will not work. I was surprised by these being from a random brand. Can't speak about their failure rate as I have a small sample size but the ones I received are good. Also wouldn't put them in something too critical like a pvs 14 night vision monocular.
