- Reviewed in Canada on May 29, 2025A great budget-friendly mic stand. It鈥檚 a bit tedious to assemble. I wish it could fold and stay assembled for faster setup. Even as it is, I think the storage bag should be about 2 inches longer to allow for partial disassembly. Right now, you really have to take almost everything apart to make it fit.
The arm that holds the phone or tablet is also a bit short. If you plan to use your phone for filming or live streaming, it will sit very close to your face. It鈥檚 really more suited for looking at sheet music or lyrics. In my photo, even if it doesn鈥檛 look like it, that鈥檚 the farthest back I was able to position my phone. The arm is quite stiff and doesn鈥檛 bend much.
Everything else is good. It might sound like I have a lot of complaints, but none of them are dealbreakers. Just things to be aware of depending on your personal usage and expectations.
