Assembly Could Be Easier
A great budget-friendly mic stand. It’s a bit tedious to assemble. I wish it could fold and stay assembled for faster setup. Even as it is, I think the storage bag should be about 2 inches longer to allow for partial disassembly. Right now, you really have to take almost everything apart to make it fit. The arm that holds the phone or tablet is also a bit short. If you plan to use your phone for filming or live streaming, it will sit very close to your face. It’s really more suited for looking at sheet music or lyrics. In my photo, even if it doesn’t look like it, that’s the farthest back I was able to position my phone. The arm is quite stiff and doesn’t bend much. Everything else is good. It might sound like I have a lot of complaints, but none of them are dealbreakers. Just things to be aware of depending on your personal usage and expectations.

    This is exactly what I need for making videos using my tablet and microphone. It will hold a tablet securely and the stand can be reversed to allow either the front or back camera to be used. Note that it will not hold a phone. The top mount attaches to a fully flexible goose neck. The stand extends in three segments, and each one has a rubber piece that grips the pole when the dials are tightened. This is my favorite thing about this stand, because it isn't going to suddenly collapse or drop like other stands can if I don't super tighten their knobs. There are two adjustable microphone mounts, one being a clip-on type that can be used with irregular or small mics and a standard holder with a diameter of 1". The mic wand is adjustable so the mic can be high or low, forward or backward, or to the side. Three wire clips are included for your microphone's cable.

    I found that the tablet mount and one segment of the stand had to be taken apart to fit in the included carry bag. I do wish the bag was longer to hold the base of the stand completely assembled. I also wish it had a mount for a DLSR camera that I sometimes use. Other than those, it is a great stand and I like it. It's going to get a lot of use. Because of its adaptability I'm also going to use it with a calibrated microphone for acoustic measurements.

You can’t swap out the gooseneck for a different mic adapter, all of the hardware is plastic (except for the stand itself), the phone/tablet mount is plastic and I wouldn’t trust it with anything larger than a phone. The mic clips and adapters work well for standard mics. Overall, a limited use mic and tablet stand at a comparable price.
