  Exactly as described. It's my 3rd machine, but the first that is strong enough to punch through leather and multiple layers of denim. I'm not in love with the 'drop in' bobbin system but it seems like that's the modern design now. My other machines are much older. The machine is definitely heavier than my others, which I'm sure is partly why it's as powerful as it is. I've used this to sew fine lingerie fabrics, as well as leather shoe uppers. I'm still trying to figure out the button hole system and the automatic threader lol it's a learning curve but I'm a fan!
