The cake was pink with the bottom layer having pink buttercream icing and the top layer, pink marshmallow fondant. These golden birthday candles were so perfect to add to the princess theme. They were easy to insert into the cake with their little candle stand, their length was really nice and just adds a level of sophistication to your cake.
My kid turned 5 so, I had plenty of candles. But, keep in mind, it's a 24 pack so you could need more than 1 pack. That said, because they're tall, if you had a lot of them on a cake, it may over power the overall look.
Also, for the current price of almost $30 a pack, there is no way I would have paid that much. If the price goes down, I do recommend these, they're just different, really tall, the gold really stands out, beautiful. I took away a star just due to such high price
