  Black is Black (no metallic) and blends nice. The paint went on well, not sticky just smooth. I would have used the pen portion for this stone chip but could not find out how to use the pen as all my others the pen is on the bottom of the stick. This here instead of twisting the top off for the brush just pull and you will reveal the pen. With the container tightened back up I will see what the shelf life is....hopefully I wont need it again for a while.
