  FYI, this isn't a particularly unique or well-written fantasy, but it's still a fun page-turner. The characters are not as fleshed out as in other stories, but this type of book is more focused on plot and world building anyway. It's deliciously steamy and sets up the story well for the rest of the books. It's a great guilty pleasure!
