I used it indoor: it does get hot but if you’re careful it is really fine. It is bright and adjusts the angle to use it higher towards the ceiling or lower towards the floor. There were some comments about the length of the cord, but maybe the product has changed since. It is now long enough to not have any problem moving and using it while plugged. I got no complaints about that.
