  Doesn’t clean your fretboard, but definitely brings back the life and colour to dull and dry fretboards. It didn’t stink, to my nose anyway. Next time I will clean with a small bit of soapy water first and dry, then apply the lemon oil, but works well and a small amount goes a long way.
