I ensured to follow the installation instructions and used isopropyl rubbing alcohol on the wall to ensure a clean wall. I knew I used enough when some of the paint started to come off and let the hook cure on the wall 24 hours prior to using it.
While the item is rated for 7.5 LBS, my backpack with a weight of sitting around 3.5LBS, (I ensure to remove my laptop, textbooks, and having only my charger and a binder inside with some pens inside) the item still fell off. I verified the weight of my backpack by using a luggage scale that I've been using to travel for the past 15 or so years. It's quite accurate considering YYZ airport has never given me any problems.
After hanging my backpack for the first time, it stayed on the wall. But after a few hours, the hook failed and it fell. It was quite disappointing as for it really tidied up the floor space...
Wouldn't even bother wasting 鶹's time on returning this item. It costs more to ship the item to my home and back vs's the items actual cost. First time Command buyer, won't be a future one anytime soon3 people found this helpfulReport PermalinkHelpful
